Kumaran is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Propel alumni company Smart Skin Technologies, a Physical AI company that provides productivity solutions to some of the world's largest pharmaceutical, food and beverage manufacturers. Smart Skin Technologies has earned international recognition for its innovation and industry leadership, including first place at the World Beverage Innovation Awards in Germany, two-time Coca-Cola Supplier of the Year honours, recognition as one of Canada's Top 10 Established Foodtech Leaders in 2025, and the 2024 World Beverage Innovation Award for Best Manufacturing/Processing Innovation.
